OBJECTIVES

1. To create an archive of the history of displacement from the various Lunaapeew/Lenape/Lenni-Lenape/Delaware (Lunaapeew) communities across Turtle Island in partnership with Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. All intellectual property created by the various Lunaapeew Nations will be stored on an Indigenous hosting company created and owed by Indigenous peoples.

2. To create museum exhibits to showcase the history of the various Lunaapeew communities across Turtle Island.

3. To create a non-profit organization that consists of two representatives from each of the various Lunaapeew communities across Turtle Island.

4. To seek an apology from the Monarchy of the Netherlands as we enter the 400 year “markation” of the Dutch colonist’s arrival to Manahahtáanung in 2024

5. To help our member communities to revitalize our Lenape/Lunaapeew language and culture.

6. To establish an annual Lunaapeew Powwow/Gathering in Manahahtáanung.

7. Lunaapeew/Lenape communities supporting each other to lift us up as the Grandfather Nation once again.
